- prepared pesto
mayonnaise
roasted red pepper, drained, chopped
bakery buns, split
leaf lettuce leaves
thinly sliced deli turkey breast
American or provolone cheese
8 slices tomato
- Stir together pesto, mayonnaise and red pepper in small bowl; mix well.
- Spread cut-sides of buns with pesto mixture.
- To assemble sandwiches, layer bottom half of each bun with 1 lettuce leaf, 1/4 turkey, 1 slice cheese, 1 slice tomato and top half of bun.
Makes 8 sandwiches.
